🌳 Parkrun milestones for Michael Meehan (# 250) and Ann Campbell (# 50) at Linwood Park. Both were accompanied by 14 Harriers and Liz McGrady ran her Parkrun PB!

🚢 On Sunday, 5 Harriers made their way to Greenock for the Bill Elder 10k, the first time this event has been open to the public.

Great running from Jamie Slater, Garry Henderson, Pauline Henderson, Colin Stewart and John Beckett. Congratulations to Jamie for his 10k PB and Pauline being first in her age category.

⛰️ About 16 months ago Kevin Craig made his debut in the world of ultrarunning and on Saturday he started his biggest challenge yet: the Race across Scotland, 215 miles with 24,000ft of elevation gain, following the Southern Upland Way from coast to coast. Kevin tackled 145 miles with 21,000ft elevation gain, through bogs, steep ascents and descents on a hot and humid weekend, before tapping out at checkpoint 8 on Monday lunchtime after just over 55 hours (!) moving time. Even if it was a DNF this year, a huge amount of hard work and dedication was needed for these 145 miles and we are sure that next year, or the year after, we‘ll be tracking a small blue dot moving across Scotland from Portpatrick all the way to the finish line.
