☀️ Summer solstice running part ✌🏻& another busy week for the Harriers. Kevin Smith, Garry Henderson, Pauline Henderson, John Cunningham & Gordon Gallagher all took part in the SVHC 5km. Plenty ‘smiles for miles’ for free snowballs on a hot Wednesday evening ❄️☀️
Friday lunchtime brought 3km on the Green debuting its new route. Adam Stark took 1st place, with Matthew O’Brien not far behind in 3rd. Mhairi Mactier took 2nd place for the women🏅🌳
Friday evening brought about the Calderglen Trail 10km. Alistair Campbell took 1st place, crossing the line in 38.41 & Kristina Glynn took 4th place for the women. Steph Rudd brought home gold for the V50 woman and Christine McKay for the V60 woman. To top it off, Kristina, Beth Woodford and Steph grabbed themselves 2nd ladies team. In the Calderglen 5km trail, Jonny Muirhead sprinted past his father, Iain Muirhead, on the home stretch. Plenty other Harriers took part with good performances across the board💪🏻🏆
Meanwhile, Peter Meehan & David Gemmell sported their Harrier vests up north in the RAM Tubulars Beach 10km 🏃🏼♂️🌊
Finally on Saturday, new Harrier member, Eddie Neilson took part in the Lairig Ghru ultra banking 3rd place M50 & crossed the line in 4:25:09🏅⛰️
